What is Zephyr Duo?
Zephyr Duo is a 2-in-1 smart bedroom fan and white noise machine with two independent fans inside: one for cooling airflow and one for real-fan white noise. Control air and sound separately with 10 settings each, from the touch surface on top or the free app.
How is Duo different from a regular fan?
Regular fans give you whatever sound the motor happens to make. Duo has a dedicated sound fan, so you can run white noise without any air movement, air without extra noise, or both. It also has a temperature sensor, a scheduler, and a beech wood base that belongs in a bedroom.
Can I use Duo as just a white noise machine?
Yes. Turn off the air fan and run only the sound fan. You get natural, loop-free fan sound with no airflow, ideal for colder months.
Smart features
How does Auto Mode work?
Auto Mode uses a built-in temperature sensor. Set your ideal temperature in the app, for example 72°F, and Duo turns on when the room rises above it, then off once it cools down. A 5-minute delay prevents erratic cycling.
Does Duo need an app or Wi-Fi?
No. Duo works fully from the touch controls on top. The free app connects over Bluetooth Low Energy and adds scheduling, timers, remote control and Auto Mode. Available on iOS and Android.
How loud is it?
At low speeds, very quiet. At high speeds, strong airflow comparable to a quality table fan, but smoother. Because the sound fan is independent, you can raise the white noise for better masking without changing the airflow.
